Ternion Sound is a dubstep trio consisting of members Johnny Foreplay, Apparition, and Nostalgia. They are known for their heavy, bass-driven sound that incorporates elements of traditional dubstep, as well as influences from grime and other underground genres. The group has released music on notable labels such as Deep Medi, System Music, and Duploc, and have gained a following within the dubstep community for their innovative and powerful productions.

PROJECT 01

+ DISPLAYED GLOBALLY AT OVER 40 LIVE EVENTS

LIVE TOUR VISUAL PACKAGE

The goal was simple. Create an aesthetically pleasing asset pack for live performance using assets from their apparel tech design. My primary focus was creating good content that mixed well and also allowed the performing VJ to edit easily.

PROJECT 02

EMBROIDERED PATCH DESIGN

This project was focused on an embroidered design for printed merchandise. When dealing with this project, the primary goal was to consider embroidery techniques that allow light and depth to be portrayed within certain elements. We aimed for the design to be lightweight whilst also being recognizable from a clear distance.

PROJECT 03

+ ANIMATED VARIATIONS FOR STREAM AT TWITCH

TWITCH STREAM OVERLAY PACKAGE

When building the assets for the live tour visuals, we had the idea of evolving the designs for twitch live-streaming. The goal was to be minimal, and allow the stream content to be the main focus. Transitions and animations would be lightweight and focused on the assets of their apparel designs.
